The wild/STRONG Tribe put themselves on the map in Northern Colorado this weekend. A rocking vendor booth, a full podium sweep and 5 teams in the top ten – it was an incredible weekend.

Friday night, my girlfriend and I packed up all our vendor equipment and headed down to Loveland after work. What should have taken about half an hour ended up taking about twice that. Lots of small problems with the setup and space kept popping up, frustrating me to no end. Thankfully she was there with me to calm me down and help find solutions. In the end, the setup looked fantastic and we headed back to Wyoming.

It took a while, but the booth was finally set up and ready to go.

My interns, aka my kids, got picked up bright and early Saturday morning and we headed back down. The booth was ready to go – and we immediately started seeing a lot of interested traffic. The boys ran the booth solo – all day long. I never had to do a thing but focus on competing. Those kids are little geniuses and they did a great job. They more than doubled the best sales day we have ever had, including our launch. They gave out stickers to anyone who showed they followed us on Instagram at @wildstronglifestyle, raised awareness of the brand and sold like they had just watched Glen Gary Glen Ross.

My squad of athletes from CrossFit Helix showed up and straight up took over the entire day. The clean and jerk one-rep max event turned into a “hey everyone watch how much these Helix-wild/STRONG teams are throwing around” bro-sesh. One team ended up taking the bounty we put out on 500lbs, hitting 510. Congrats to Tyler Green and C.J. Engels for that!

Going into the final workout, the top 4 teams on the day were in the final heat. It was an all wild/STRONG Final! By the end of the blistering, fast-paced heat, three wild/STRONG teams stood on the podium. Congratulations to all of them – especially Kole Kadavy and Shala Giardini, who took the top spot on the day.

It was an incredible day – we set goals, to sweep the podium and to double our best sales day ever. We achieved them both, together, as a team. I can’t thank you all enough for helping our brand so much. To the athletes, to CrossFit Helix and to my two sons and my amazing girlfriend – you are incredible. You inspired me all weekend and we could not have accomplished these goals without each and every one of you. A shout-out to Matt Cooper and the crew at Big Thompson CrossFit as well. It was a great event, for a great cause. We are excited to send you all a check – as promised, 10% of our booth sales, to be donated to the Windsor High School Lifting Club.

Happy with our performance and a 7th place overall finish.
